Memorial to casualties of World War One & Two

Location: Bayswell Park

Memorial to the fallen in the two World Wars who resided in the burgh and parish of Dunbar. Incorporating a Celtic Cross of white granite, base of Catcraig stone, it was erected by local builder George Cunningham and unveiled in 1921. Paid for by public subscription and managed by a War Memorial Committee and Dunbar Town Council.

From the nearby Winterfield park you can see all the way across to the Bass rock a site well worth walking a few minutes to see, take some binoculars and you'll see the Lighthouse.
