David Annand, born 1948 is a Scottish sculptor. Educated at Duncan of Jordonstone College,Dundee and taught there for 14 years. In 1988, Annand devoted himself to sculpture; his work can be seen in cities in the UK, many works appearing in public places relating to local history or literature. Among his prestigious works are a tribute to Cardinal Thomas Wolsey (Ipswich), Henry VIII’s Lord Chancellor who failed to obtain the King’s divorce from Catharine of Aragon. Annand won the 1988 Dunbar Swimming Pool Sculpture competition. A member of the Royal British Society of Sculpture,David Annand lives in Fife.
